Pastor Eva O'Diam was called on as our permanent pastor and began October 12, 2015.  She has been ordained since 1981 and comes to us with a variety of pastoral and community service.  Pastor Eva has served churches in Ohio, California, Maryland, and Pennsylvania some have been country churches and others in suburban areas.  Between some of her pastorates she has served in community ministries such as Prisoner Visitation and Support, an alternative ministry to Federal and Military prisoners, and Alder Health Services, where she assisted people living with HIV and AIDS with financial issues related to housing, medical needs and budgeting.

Pastor Eva believes that being pastor of a community of faith requires us to focus on relationship--our relationship with God--our relationship with each other--and our relationship with the wider community.  We have a shared vision of a community of faith that is involved in mission.  She says, "I believe the church is called to grow beyond where we currently find ourselves.  We must discover new ways with God to reach out to those not currently in the church.  We must be on a spiritual journey within ourselves and with our community of faith.  That growth within leads us to ever widening communities."
